The plan establishes that all people have the right to protection of their personal integrity and that authorities have a special responsibility to meet everyone with the same respect, and it explicitly warns of racism in authority practice. The plan wants secrecy barriers between authorities to be torn down and the police to have more tools to do their job, and maintains a strict migration policy. Not implementing the bill's provisions on internal controls, reporting requirements and identity clarification goes against those commitments. The plan's requirements for privacy protection and combating discrimination justify legal certainty guarantees, but not stopping the proposal.

To seize mobile phones for up to three months and lower the threshold for internal controls contradicts this, as does the risk of ethnic profiling that the plan commits itself to counteracting. The plan establishes that those who have been denied shall leave the country as soon as possible and that the alternative is a growing shadow society with vulnerability and crime. It also wants to determine who actually lives in Sweden. Stopping the new tools for internal control, information provision and identity clarification goes directly against this, even though the plan protects personal integrity.
