The plan wants more to go on the welfare core and less on benefits and that it shall more clearly pay to go from benefits to work, which speaks in favour of limiting subsistence benefits to the national norm. The counter-proposal's demand for denial therefore goes against the plan's line. The plan's commitment that no one shall be allowed to fall through the safety net pulls the other way in the case of large family households, so the conclusion is uncertain.

The party programme establishes that the best interests of the child shall be the guiding principle in all decisions concerning children and that the family has the right to the support of society and the state, with particular attention to the economy of families with children. The plan wants to convert the large family supplement into a tax-reducing deduction for working parents precisely to prevent benefit dependency, and requires a raised threshold for drawing on tax-financed welfare.
