The party programme establishes that the public sector shall only conduct business activities if there is a strong public interest and shall not conduct activities that crowd out functioning private alternatives. To withdraw the sales authorisation and instead give the company a new public task goes in the opposite direction. The plan does want to expand vocational education in shortage occupations, but through vocational college and adult education rather than through a state-owned company.
