The election manifesto wants to tear down bureaucratic obstacles, speed up slow permit processes and at least double the pace of electricity network expansion, and promises continued building of rental apartments. A review that reduces the number of matters of national interest reduces precisely those obstacles the plan wants to remove. The party programme's requirement for a forward-looking and sustainable society building simultaneously sets limits for how far such a reduction should go.
