Climate-harmful subsidies

The plan wants to move money from companies that pollute to environmentally and climate-friendly production and steer consumption away from the dirty where technology shifts are not sufficient. Phasing out climate-damaging subsidies is the same thing seen from the expenditure side, and the plan moreover demands that the costs of emissions increase long-term. An action plan for phasing out is therefore in line with the plan.

The election manifesto promises significantly reduced petrol and diesel prices, a shock absorber that lowers the electricity tax when electricity prices rise and cost relief for agriculture.
