The election manifesto's energy commitments are about at least doubling the pace of power grid expansion, keeping grid costs reasonable regardless of where one lives and reviewing electricity price areas, as well as seeking a broad energy agreement. The counter-proposal's demand for more comprehensive decision support with clearer proposals on transmission capacity and faster infrastructure development is in line with that priority.
