The election manifesto states that it shall be expensive, difficult and burdensome to be criminal and that the organised crime's enterprises shall be attacked from multiple angles, and the party programme wishes to strengthen work against criminal economy. A higher share capital requirement that makes it more difficult for companies to be used as tools for crime aligns with that. At the same time, the plan wishes it to be simple to start a business, which pulls in another direction and justifies low security.

An increased requirement for minimum share capital raises the threshold for starting a business. The plan's decisive commitment is that regulatory burden shall decrease and that good opportunities for livelihood entrepreneurship broaden the labor market and increase people's freedom, because more entrepreneurs create more jobs. The plan's business policy commitment is to create and maintain a good climate for dynamic small business, where personal initiative is the foundation for new businesses and forthcoming laws shall be tested from a small business perspective. The plan's commitment in the business area is to lower the barriers for starting a business and to relieve small businesses' regulatory burden, because new entrepreneurship and entrepreneurial spirit shall be stimulated.
